To Pan Fry:
( Jim's Favorite Cooking Method) Remove crabcake
from individual wrapping (some reforming of the crabcake may be
necessary), place in frying pan with butter and just a little oil
to keep the butter from turning brown, fry until golden brown. (About
6 min. on either side). Avoid over-browning.
For Those Who
Like Their Crabcakes With A Little More Spice:
Enclosed with your order is a small amount
of Old Bay Seasoning, just sprinkle a little on top just before
cooking.
If cooking after freezing, put crabcakes
in the refrigerator until completely thawed, generaly overnight,
then reform to cook using
any of the cooking instructions listed.
Maggie’s Signature Crabcakes are
made with just enough filler to hold the crabcake together. Minimum
handling helps to keep the large lumps from breaking up. All cooking
is to get the internal temperature of the crabcake between 140F
and 160F, and brown to maximize flavor. Spicing used for the crabcake
is to accentuate the delicate taste of the crab meat, not cover
it up. Thank you for ordering our Crabcakes online. I am sure you
will be extremely pleased that you got these authentic Maryland
crabcakes delivered to your home.
